Distribution of Recreational Indoor Sports Kits
In response to NGO Secretariat of Kurunegala district, MFCD speedily took upthe action to gift valuable recreational indoor sports kits to 103 children of the Divulapitiya cluster at DambadeniyaTeacher Training Centre where these children arecurrently quarantined. The government of Sri Lanka has taken the responsibility to look after these children whose mothers are at different quarantine centres elsewhere.
Mr M.I.M Hasreem CEO of MFCD handed over the said sports kits to Mr R.M.R Rathnayaka, Kurunegala District Secretary on 10th of November 2020 to encourage the mentally - stressed children to indulge in indoor recreational activities to ward off monotony.
